Michael Feeny, President of Rhopack, LLC has over 40 years of experience in packaging, plastics, paper, converting and machinery on three continents. After completing military service and time as a commercial pilot, he started in the packaging industry with a worldwide converter. After a period in export sales, he ran a company in
South Africa, and later joined Cobelplast, then the world leader in barrier plastic extrusion in Europe.
After several years as general manager of that company in the United Kingdom and Ireland, he moved to the U.S. to promote the concept of barrier plastics which was, at the time, in its infancy. Machinery was the next challenge, from plastics form, fill and seal to complete bag making lines and automation in the multi-wall paper sack industry.
Now, concentrating on woven polypropylene fabrics, machinery and finished bags from a variety of sources, Rhopack now represents a variety of packaging equipment and materials manufacturers, and consults widely with packaging users worldwide.
Chuck Newton Manager - International Procurement
Chuck Newton manages Rhopack's international supplier network. Chuck brings to the company more than 30 years of international experience, and has lived and worked in major world markets including Boston, New York, Atlanta, Hong Kong and Singapore. He holds a B.S. from Boston University, and an MBA from Babson College.
Nancy Merrill Manager - Administration
Nancy Merrill oversees administrative matters for all Rhopack activities in the U.S. and internationally. Nancy gained her business experience in a variety of roles with major U.S. and international consulting firms, working in Denver, New York and Moscow. A Pennsylvania native, she holds degrees in journalism and political science from the University of Colorado.
